Recently, we had the pleasure of talking to Laura Hollabaugh of Laura Anne’s Sugar Scrub, and learned the cool story behind the amazing scrub. Memorial Day is nearly here, and we know what that means: friends, family, food and drinks, and lounging in the sun. Assuming the weather is pleasant—please, SF, don’t fail us—it will be a great weekend to host or attend a BBQ. Girls, are you thinking, “Yes, that would be fun, but what would I wear??” Don’t fret! It’s currently 72 degrees in San Francisco. I repeat, its currently 72 degrees. No doubt this year has already brought us some great weather. Peace out winter, our relationship was meaningless this year because you were non-existent. And you know what, I’m fine with it. Be gone! Who doesn’t love telling winter to F-off!? Am I right!?

Maybe I am going a bit overboard, but if you don’t love the weather that lies ahead then please just stay in your bed and don’t come out. 70’s and a chill day in the park with a 12 pack? Nahhh, sounds lame. Rooftop parties watching the sun set over the Golden Gate Bridge? Yaawnn. Giant’s day game in the sun? Screw that, I’d rather be in my cubicle. Friends BBQ in their lush Pac Heights backyard? Soooo yuppy oh-mmm-geee. If you haven’t figured it out I am being absurdly sarcastic.

The question is, what are you wearing in this weather? You aren’t the guy I saw this weekend downtown in a Pea Coat are you? Well if you are, I need you to take a moment, look yourself in the mirror and give your cheek a nice little slap. I’m talking like, Home Alone style. Time to wake up.

Now, most guy’s are not into the whole tank-top look. I get it, trust me. Too hipster/my chest is too hairy/ I’m not fit enough. There’s plenty of excuses out there, so don’t front. The fact is, we have several options here in the store and online that can keep you cool and confident when you head over to the park with your beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback. Who knows, maybe everyone won’t be staring at your dog this time and you will be the center of attention? Oh, so you don’t know any tricks?
